Luis, from Colombia, was selected from more than 70 nominations from around the world by the Founders’ Council of the Children & Nature Network. For 25 years, Luis has engaged and inspired people of all ages with direct experiences in nature through the non-profit organization he founded, OpEPA (Organization for Environmental Education and Protection), a #NatureForAll partner!
Environment education congress – call for abstracts
There’s still time to submit an abstract for the World Environment Education Congress, taking place in the United Arab Emirates from Jan. 29 to Feb. 2, 2023. You can submit either research-oriented, conceptual and theoretical research presentations or practice-oriented presentations, field sessions, and shared experience. The deadline for applications is June 30. For more details, visit the WEEC website.
Join in for a dialogue
#NatureForAll invites you to participate in a new series of monthly dialogues exploring conservation themes, led by IUCN subject matter experts from the Commission on Education and Communications as well as the World Commission on Protected Areas. The dialogues focus on sharing expertise, experiences, and ideas in an interactive format with a lens to inspire love, support, and action for nature. Photo contests
Are you a photographer/filmmaker who loves the outdoors? Or an outdoor enthusiast who loves photography? What about movies? Then enter one of the many photo contests and film festivals #NatureForAll partners have underway now. Job opportunity at IUCN The IUCN is seeking a Program Officer to work out of the Washington, DC, office to support program, policy and communications for the IUCN Commission on Education and Communication (and #NatureForAll), and for IUCN’s North America Regional program. The program officer will help both the strategic visioning and day-to-day implementation of the Commission and the Regional Program’s work. Application deadline is July 2, 2023.
