The Nature Crime Alliance, of which IUCN is a Member, is hosted the second edition of its ‘Meet the Nature Crime Alliance’ webinar series on Wednesday 29 May at 10am ET / 3pm CET.
This session will feature discussions with Alliance members on a range of pertinent issues:
Eugénie Pimont from the International Fund for Animal Welfare will present findings from their recent report, ‘The Elephant in the Net: Research snapshot of the online ivory trade after the adoption of the new EU rules’.
Steve Kohn, National Whistleblower Center, will share his perspectives on how existing US transnational whistleblower laws are being utilised for effective nature crime enforcement.
Matt Finer and Nadia Mamani from Amazon Conservation Association will share insights from their work mapping illegal gold mining in Peru.
