Capitol Hill Ocean Week 2024

The National Marine Sanctuary Foundation is proud to announce Capitol Hill Ocean Week (CHOW) 2024 will be held June 4-6 in Washington DC and online. We invite you to get involved in this year’s event, with the theme of LEADERSHIP! CHOW 2024 calls upon leaders from all walks of life to come together to drive attention and innovation to protect our ocean and center people at the core of ocean solutions. Together, we will explore international, national, and local communities and the traditional and new ways they are adapting to a changing climate, saving and protecting species, and sustaining their relationships with the ocean for a brighter, sustainable, and equitable future.  

CHOW 2024 kicks off on Tuesday, June 4 with a day of events for CHOW Hill Day. That evening, the Foundation will host the Ocean Awards Gala at a beautiful and historic new venue this year: Union Station! The CHOW Conference will feature in-person and virtual plenaries at the Ronald Reagan Building on Wednesday, June 5 and Thursday, June 6.
