We welcome your sharing of the channel and links provided at the end of this email.

We also would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Big Cat partners on the successful launch of theJaguar Parade today in New York City!!

Why Big Cats?

The numerous crises in the world today require actions that provide multiple benefits. Big Cats do that with respect to the biodiversity and climate crises and minimizing the risks of zoonotic disease outbreaks. How so? As apex predators, big cats such as tigers and snow leopards represent healthy ecosystems. Healthy ecosystems provide economic goods and services such as clean water upon which we all depend. There is also deep cultural value for these species throughout Asian societies.

The channel also features the new BIG CATS BIG OPPORTUNITIES Video Podcast series.

The podcasts are monthly dialogues with global experts on a wide range of Big Cat conservation issues and their direct impact on cultures, business, ecosystems, biodiversity, infrastructures, human health and security for communities all around the world. In its premiere episode, BIG CATS AND FAT CATS, guest host Andrew Mitchell, Founder & Sr. Advisor, Global Canopy discusses the future of conservation finance with Antoine Sire, Head of Company Engagement, BNP Paribas, Madeleine Ronquest, Head of Environmental Risk, FirstRand Bank and Dr. Laurie Marker, Founder, Cheetah Conservation Society.

Through the YouTube Channel and Podcast series, USAID highlights the important conservation and climate issues and actions taking place today in regions throughout Asia and around the world. The channel demonstrates the progress and positive impacts of partnerships among diverse groups of organizations and people combating the biodiversity and climate crises along with reducing the risk of zoonotic disease outbreaks.
