Antarctica2030: what is it, and how is it working to achieve the ‘greatest act of ocean conservation in history’?

Antarctica2030 is a global movement uniting leaders from sport, politics, business, media, and science to champion the protection of Antarctica’s Southern Ocean. The movement works to further progress towards achieving the global 30×30 goal whereby 30% of the world’s landscapes and seascapes will be effectively conserved and managed by 2030. It does so by advocating for the Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR) to establish a representative network of marine protected areas (MPAs).
