We recommend that Members book hotels and flights ASAP. Prices are increasing for dates around October 7-16th! Some bookings can be canceled at no cost for late changes/cancellations.

Registration

$574, but just $265 if 36 or younger!  

For your staff to secure the Member fees rate: add staff to your IUCN portal page. Go to your organization’s page and click on “Manage Related people” and then “Add a New Contact not shown in the list”. The staff will get an email for them to log in and update their information then register. 

Flights

Non-stop flights are presently UNDER $1,000  (around October 7^th to 16^th) on Etihad Airlines with daily nonstop flights to Abu Dhabi (AUH) from 5 US cities (Washington, New York, Atlanta, Boston, and Chicago, plus from Toronto). All flights are red-eye and arrive the following day.  TIP: for other US cities also check flights into Dubai (DXB) as it is a 70-minute taxi/bus ride from DXB to the congress location and generally much cheaper than flying into AUH.

Visa

US Citizens do not need a tourism visa for up to 30 days.

Hotels

The hotels around the Congress location are now limited and expensive. We recommend using either IUCN hotel options or Expedia / other travel sites that offer competitive prices on hotels ($100-150/night) in the main tourism area (Abu Dhabi Mall area) which is 15-20 minutes NW of the Congress location.
