The Indianapolis Zoological Society, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Public Charity. Our venue, the Indianapolis Zoo, provides cutting edge animal habitats and engaging programming for our guests driving forward our vision. We tell compelling animal conservation stories that connect our guests to our broader conservation mission. The Indianapolis Zoo is accredited as a zoo, aquarium and botanical garden. The zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) and is a member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA).
