WSL PURE (PURE), is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working to protect our ocean in association with the World Surf League (WSL). P.U.R.E. stands for Protecting, Understanding, and Respecting the Environment. Our work focuses on the climate crisis, coastal and marine conservation, and plastic pollution. Through our relationship with the WSL, PURE is able to leverage the WSL, the global home of surfing, as a platform to reach and activate the worldwide surf community in campaigns for ocean conservation and sustainability.
The mission of WSL PURE is to inspire, educate, and empower the global surf community to protect our oceans. WSL PURE works collaboratively with international and local non-profit partners to increase impact and amplify the reach of our collective environmental goals.
