EarthX is an international nonprofit environmental organization dedicated to educating and inspiring people and organizations to take action toward a more sustainable future worldwide. Its mission is to connect a global community to create a sustainable world for all life and future generations, and its vision is to be the leading global connector and environmental forum to positively impact the world for a sustainable future.
Founded in 2010 by Trammell S. Crow as Earth Day Dallas, the organization grew from a local Earth Day event into Earth Day Texas before becoming EarthX, reflecting its global scope. From 2010 to 2023, EarthX hosted the EarthX Expo at Fair Park in Dallas — at its height the world’s largest green gathering, drawing more than 177,000 attendees and nearly 400 exhibitors, educators, and sponsors each year. Today the work centers on the EarthX Congress of Conferences, an annual convening that brings together scientists, conservationists, academics, entrepreneurs, advocates, NGOs, farmers, corporations, policymakers, educators, students, and global leaders to exchange ideas and drive solutions.
EarthX also operates EarthX Media, a multiplatform media company anchored by the EarthX and EarthXtra television networks, available 24/7 to millions of U.S. households on DirecTV, Spectrum TV, Fubo, Philo, AT&T U-verse, the National Cable Television Cooperative, Amazon Fire TV Channels, Plex, Xumo, Sling, and Vizio. The media arm extends the organization’s mission beyond the conference floor, telling stories of real environmental solutions to broad public audiences.
